Access our Online Catalogue

Here you can search the catalogue, renew or reserve items and make changes to your library account.

You can use the online library catalogue to

  • Browse the library's collection
  • Log in to your account
  • Renew your loans
  • Reserve in-stock items
  • Update your personal details
  • Create Purchase Suggestions
  • Create your own book lists

To access these features, you will need your library membership number (on your library card under the barcode) and PIN. You can change your PIN or password by going to the change your password section once you have logged in to your account. If you require a new PIN please email libraries@eastdunbarton.gov.uk, quoting your library membership number.

Once you have logged in to your account you can renew your loans in the checked out items section of your account summary. Occasionally this may not be possible e.g. if another library user has requested that particular item, if your items are already overdue or if you have outstanding fines. If you experience any problems renewing items online, please contact any East Dunbartonshire Library.

Reserving Items

You can check whether or not an item is in stock by searching:

  • Author/artist
  • Title
  • International Standard Book Number (ISBN)

Once you have found the item you want, please follow the on screen instructions to place your request.

Please note that our Purchase Suggestion service is suspended until April 2025.

If you would like to suggest a book, eBook or eAudiobook that we do not have in stock, you can make a Purchase Suggestion! Log on to your library account and select ‘Your Purchase Suggestions’ on the left, complete the form and submit. Alternatively, you can email us your Purchase Suggestion at libraries@eastdunbarton.gov.uk

If you have any problems with your online requests or renewals, or for any further information please contact your local library.
