How it works

All courses are free and must be booked in advance. Please register your interest with your Active Schools Coordinator or a PE Teacher.

If you are successful in selection, a registration link will then be sent out to confirm your place on the course and gain parent/carer consent.

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible so your place can be offered to those on a waiting list.

What we need from you

Secondary school volunteers are expected to deliver a minimum of 5 hours of extracurricular activity in the sport/activity corresponding to each course attended.

This could be in their own secondary school, local primary school, local additional support needs school or community setting.

We will support volunteers to find the right setting and session to suit their diary and interests.
