Terms and Conditions of booking Holiday Programmes
- Bookings are made through the online portal through Leisure Hub
- Bookings are dealt with on a ‘first come, first served’ basis
- All available classes will show on the portal
- Children will only be allowed to attend within any stated age range or the stated requirements. This information can be found on the timetable
- Any child unable to meet the criteria/age group or ability requirements for a class will be removed and no refund will be offered
- Please do not book if you are unsure as to your child’s ability or eligibility. Please contact Swimming Development before submitting your booking form
- Refunds will only be issued if the activity is cancelled by EDLCT.
Beginners/Improvers and Developers crash courses
- For applicants booking with us for the first time (not in our Aquatics Programme) you can only apply for ‘BEGINNERS’
- For those in our Aquatics Programme at Swim Skills 1A & 1B, apply for ‘IMPROVERS’
- For those in our Aquatics Programme at Swim Skills 2, 3, or 4 apply for ‘DEVELOPERS’.
Individual Lessons
- Are open to both adults and children, aged five years and over. Any level of ability can apply.
All other Aquatic Activities
- Please read the entry criteria before applying. Your place may be cancelled and a refund will not be issued if the participant does not meet the entry criteria.
- Payment is made online at the end of the booking process through World Pay
- Refunds will only be given if the activity is cancelled by EDLCT.
During the activity your child may be filmed or photographed for either skills analysis by coaches, or for publicity, either printed, electronic, website or archival reasons. If you do not wish your child to be photographed you must email swimming@eastdunbarton.gov.uk prior to the start of lessons.
You agree that the information given at the time of booking is to your knowledge correct. You agree that the participant may receive emergency medical treatment, including the use of anaesthetic as considered necessary by the medical authorities present. You understand that the individual workers do not administer emergency medication and understand the extent and limitations of the insurance cover provided.
You understand to inform the lead in charge as soon as possible of any change in the medical circumstances between the date of booking and the commencement/conclusion of the activity. You also understand that in order to meet the participants care needs (where appropriate), it may be necessary to attend the activity, or nominate a responsible person to support the participant.

You must advise us in writing, no later than seven days before the start or your lessons, of any medical conditions (whether this requires any medical treatment, medication or not), special needs, disability or additional support, or if there are any changes in the aforementioned, or if you wish your child not to be photographed or you wish not to receive marketing information.
- Concession rates cannot be booked online at this time. If the individual taking the lesson is entitled to the Concession rate please contact us via email swimming@eastdunbarton.gov.uk or phone 0141 578 8445. Please note that we are not always available to deal with enquiries due to teaching commitments
- The concession membership for the participant must be valid at the time of booking. Changes to the cost shall not be made once the place is confirmed.
- There is no concession rate for some classes and this is detailed in the timetable.
