About
Folklore, fun and a forest full o’ mischief. A tartan-twisted adventure packed with spirits, sweeties and Scottish shenanigans.
Determined to save their home, brave siblings, Hansel and Gretel venture deep into the heart of the mystical woods, where they encounter a riot of fantastical Folklore creatures and characters: the riddle-weaving Thomas the Rhymer; a mischievous Bogle; a shimmering Selkie; a fuss-loving Brownie; and the forest’s elusive guardian, the Ghillie Dubh.
Guided by wise words, and armed with enchanted tools - from Will o’ the Wisp-torches to Truth-Telling Sweeties - the plucky pair uncover the truth behind Grump’s shocking plot. Even the much maligned and mis-judged witch, Morag MacMallow, joins the fight to thwart his sleekit scheme.
In a melee of mayhem, mischief and music, Hansel and Gretel expose Grump’s trickery, save the forest, and prove that courage, kindness and a wee sprinkle of Scottish magic can turn the tide.
